    Drumset

    After playing some of the most renowned venues in the world such as the Istanbul Jazz Festival, Singapore Jazz Festival, Java Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Playboy Jazz Festival, and The Blue Note in New York, Emrah Kotan is one of the most sought after musicians in the Atlanta music scene. His unique musical ability transcends many genres and cultures. He is involved in various musical projects, including his own, and is the drummer/percussionist for Grammy Award winning artist India Arie, as well as Emmy and Grammy Award winning artist, Jennifer Holliday. Emrah is the Director of the Jazz and World Percussion Ensembles at Agnes Scott College and teaches Jazz Drum Set, the Latin Ensemble, and the Drumset Combo at Jacksonville State University in Alabama. Emrah Kotan proudly endorses Pearl drums and percussion and is a voting member of The Recording Academy.

  • Frankie Quinones

    Latin Percussionist Frankie Quinones is an independent Atlanta, GA-based Latin and World Percussionist with a passion for playing all styles of music. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY he has been playing drums and hand percussion since the age of four years old. In 1999 Frankie was accepted and entered on scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied drum set and percussion with Giovanni Hidalgo, Eguie Castrillo, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Francisco Mela, Ernesto Diaz, Kenwood Dennard and Victor Mendoza.

  • Andy Eulau

    Bass

    Bassist Andy Eulau is a musical product of the vast diversity that defines his native New York metropolitan area. As a 2019 transplant tothe Atlanta Georgia area, he enjoys increasing his musical palette and sharing his varied skill set with others in his new home. A veteran of the New York music scene, his “drive and rich sound” (Downbeat Magazine) led to associations with the Village Vanguard Orchestra, the BMI Jazz Orchestra, Gene Bertoncini, S.Y.O.T.O.S., and the Gary Morgan Pan-American Big Band, as well as several theater and symphony orchestras. Andy has performed in concert halls and jazz clubs in the USA, Europe, Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East with a long list of artists, most notably Ray Barretto, Anthony Braxton, Freddie Bryant and Bobby Sanabria. Recording credits include dates with the Bill Charlap Trio, Cliff Korman and the Brazilian Tinge, and the Anthony Braxton Quartet. Mr. Eulau holds a Master of Music degree from world-renowned North Texas University, winning awards in both the Jazz and Classical performance areas. His teaching is informed by extensive experience at New York University, Rutgers University, Kean University, Drew University, and New Jersey City University, where he taught applied lessons in Classical and Jazz Double Bass and Bass Guitar; conducted and coached combo and big band, orchestra and chamber groups as well as Jazz Improvisation and Jazz History classes.

  • Carlos Llidó

    Percussion

    He began his musical studies at the age of 10, although he didn't become interested in jazz until he was 20. It was then that he began his studies in Afro-Cuban percussion with Miguel Berro Rosales (Cuba), with whom he trained as a percussionist specializing in congas. He has attended jazz and Latin music seminars in Spain and Portugal since 2001.

    In 2003, he moved to Cuba and continued his studies with prominent professors on the Cuban music scene, including José Eladio Amat "El Teacher," Miguel "Angá" Díaz, Justo Pelladito, and Joel Driggs. In 2004, he became active in the Valencian music scene, playing with renowned artists and groups.

     

    In 2010, he recorded his first solo album, Carlos Llidó Septet, with which he has participated in jazz festivals such as Málaga, El Palau de València, Vinaros, Alzira, etc. He has taught at the Torrent Jazz & Arts Seminar and has given various masterclasses at conservatories in Valencia, Alicante, and Almeria. He has accompanied soloists such as Nina, Celia Mur, Victor Mendoza, Perico Sambeat, David Pastor, and Jesús Santandreu. Of note are several collaborations with the OCG of Granada, and he is a member of groups such as Sedajazz Latin Ensemble, Sedajazz Big Band, Perico Sambeat Big Band, Aire Flamenco, Enclave Latin Jazz, etc.

  • Abelito Sanabria Padron

    Bass

    Abel Sanabria Padrón, born in Matanzas, Cuba in 1973, started playing guitar and percussion at a very young age. He graduated from the National School of Music in Havana with a degree in double bass and electric bass. Later, he was part of the acapella band Vocal Sampling for 20 years, participating in most festivals around the world, sharing the stage with great artists such as Bobby McFerrin, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, Quincy Jones, and many more. He currently lives in Valencia, Spain, playing bass and double bass with local artists and bands of jazz, salsa, Latin, etc.
